Install required USB drivers

Install the Samsung USB drivers without the complete Samsung Kies:

Solution A:

Install Samsung Kies and uninstall, the USB drivers will remain on the system.
 

Solution B:

1. Download Samsung Kies from the Samsung Homepage.
   
   
2. Start the installation but do not click 'Continue'.
   
   
3. Open the folder for temporary files, e.g. start menu -> Run -> type in  %temp% and 'OK'
   
   
4. In the temp folder open the subfolder {5C85EA7B-401B-4A6C-9D8F-1EC9CD0CD949} (or smimilar).
   In that folder you'll find the file Samsung Kies.msi.
   
   
5. Now start a command line (cmd.exe).
   
   
6. and enter the command:
   msiexec "%temp%\{5C85EA7B-401B-4A6C-9D8F-1EC9CD0CD949}\Samsung Kies.msi" /qn TARGETDIR="target folder"
   As target folder please enter a valid folder.
   
   
7. After some seconds you'll fin the target folder a subfolder program files\Samsung\Kies\USB Driver.
   And in that folder the file SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe
   This is the installation of the USB drivers you can use.
